I never thought I give a Walmart a 5-star review. I didn't think it would ever be possible. I've never had an amazing experience at any Walmart anywhere in the world. It's not really their model for great customer service, they are price leadership and volume. But to my great surprise, down in Spanish Fork they didn't get the memo for what a regular Walmart is supposed to be like. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, they answered their phones right away, I wasn't put on hold forever. The electronics department went above and beyond to help and make recommendations. And learn my new favorite dorky dad joke. I had to stop and pinch myself because I thought I was in Nordstrom or something classier. Thank you so much to everyone in the electronics department and specially the manager there! You guys did a phenomenal job helping us get all of those things ordered! I really appreciate the follow-up phone calls thank us for the business! If every Walmart was like this, Amazon would be in serious trouble
Entered this Walmart at about 4 a.m. and was surprised to see they were open as I don't normally enter Walmart's at this time. The lady that greeted me was unhappy and tired and did not want to hear any of my shenanigans. The sandwich I purchased was scary at best but I still ate it and it was only a dollar anyway. Later I found a piece of it by the side of the passenger seat. I believe my friend did not like it. So he decided to hide it by the reclining control of the seat.
Love this place. Like all Walmart’s i️t has 40 checkout lanes with only about 5 of them open, but that’s life. This one is clean and well stocked.
Because I am disabled and use a power chair, it is difficult to get out and I had put off getting my truck's tires rotated for too long. I went to Walmart where I purchased the tires and parked at a booth at the auto department where I had always parked for service. It takes 7-10 minutes for me to unload my power chair. Though the two men working in the service bay saw me at least twice while I unloaded my power chair, they never acknowledged me. Once unloaded I tried going into the store to talk to someone and then went back around to the entrance of the service bay trying to find someone who would help. While doing so I know they saw me, but started helping a women with a car who had barely pulled in. Frustrated, I gave up and started reloading my chair. It was only then that one of them asked if I wanted anything. I told him not now since they knew I been there all this time but ignored me and started helping someone else. Though he admitted that I had parked in the spot that used to be used to initiate service, they no longer did it that way, so they didn't know why I was there. I replied that there is no way I could have known of such a change and he just shrugged, gave a pithy apology, and walked backed into the bay area. They just lost a loyal customer.
Great staff, I am always looking for places who are knowledgeable on what they can and cannot ask with service dogs and still treat you with respect. This is a very kind but informed group here. Love it.
